About Steam Fireplace
This guide shows you how to install your steam fireplace safely and correctly. You’ll ensure proper ventilation, choose the right power outlet, and avoid common installation mistakes.

Install it with proper ventilation and correct power
- Leave ventilation space: Keep at least 5 cm of ventilation space on all sides (left / right / back / top) to ensure smooth airflow and stable mist/flame performance.
- Use the right socket: Plug into a wall-mounted 220–240V grounded outlet.
- Do not place the outlet on the floor: Do not use a floor-level socket or leave the plug sitting on the floor.
- No heat insulation needed: This model produces cool mist (no heat), so heat insulation is not required.
If it doesn’t work
- Mist/flame looks weak or uneven: Re-check that you have 5 cm ventilation space on all sides. Poor airflow can affect the flame effect.
- No power / intermittent power: Confirm you’re using a 220–240V grounded wall outlet (not a floor socket) and the plug is firmly connected.
- Unit seems unstable or unsafe to place: Install the fireplace in a secure, supported cavity and keep the power connection accessible for quick unplugging if needed.
This guide shows you how to fill the fireplace tank for first-time use (or refilling) and start it safely. The unit will stop filling automatically when the tank is full.
Adding water
- Place the fireplace on a stable, level surface.
- Insert the tube into the first hole on the right.

- Press the power button.

- Wait while the fireplace fills automatically until you hear: “Fuel is full.”
-
Remove the tube — the fireplace is ready to use.

A full tank supports continuous operation for about 7 hours.
Yes — remove the tube after the tank is full.
Once the tank is full, the unit is ready to use. A full tank typically supports about 7 hours of continuous operation.
Remove the tube after the pump stops
- Keep the tube in place until the pump fully stops.
- Then pull the tube out slowly.
- Wipe any small droplets around the fill port if needed.
This guide shows you how to drain water from the fireplace tank.
Draining water
- Prepare a container to collect water.
- Insert the tube into the second hole on the left.

- Press the “ + ” and “ – ” buttons together abou 5s to start automatic draining.

- When the water level is low, lift one side slightly to remove the remaining water.

-
Always switch off the fireplace before removing the tube, as water may spill and damage the unit or make the floor slippery.
To protect your steam fireplace and keep the flame effect stable, follow the rules below—most damage comes from wrong water, adding additives, or improper filling/moving.
1) Use the right water
- Use purified or filtered water to protect the sensor and reduce limescale buildup (limescale can weaken the flame effect).
- Do not reuse water that has been drained from the tank.
2) Never add anything to the water
-
Do not add essential oils, fragrances, or additives.
These can damage the mist system.
3) Fill the tank correctly
- When filling, keep the fireplace higher than the water container so water flows smoothly and does not spill.
4) Move and store the unit safely
- Empty the tank before moving the unit to avoid leaks and internal damage.
- If you won’t use it for a long time, drain the tank to help prevent odors and sediment buildup.
If the flame effect pulls inward (instead of rising), it’s usually caused by insufficient airflow around the unit. Follow the steps below to restore normal mist flow.
Improve airflow around the unit
-
Leave enough ventilation space: Keep at least 5 cm of open space on all sides (left / right / back / top) and at the bottom so the mist can rise smoothly.
(See: How to Install Steam Fireplace) - Avoid airflow blockers: Don’t place the unit tight against walls, inside a sealed cavity, or on thick carpet/soft surfaces that block the bottom intake.
Maintenance for best results
For stable flame performance, keep the unit clean and use the correct cleaning method.
-
Clean the unit once a month.
(Steps: How Do I Clean and Maintain the Steam Fireplace) -
Do not use essential oils (they can damage the mist system).
(More: What May Damage My Steam Fireplace) - Use Eblth Cleaning Solution during cleaning.
(Guide: How Do I Clean and Maintain the Steam Fireplace)
If your flame looks very weak, uneven, or only appears on one side, this guide helps you restore a full, balanced flame effect.

In most cases, the fix is simple: clean the atomizer/mist system using the correct cleaning solution.
Clean the mist system
- Turn off the fireplace and let it sit for a minute.
- Use the approved cleaning solution to clean the unit (this removes residue and improves mist output).
- After cleaning, refill with clean water and test the flame again.
For the correct cleaning method and maintenance frequency, follow this guide:
If it doesn’t work
-
Remove the factory protective film (first-time use):
Some units may ship with a protective film on the atomizer/mist component. If it’s still in place, it can block mist output and cause a weak/uneven flame. Remove the film and test again. -
Check installation and airflow:
Poor airflow can cause mist to drift sideways or stay low, making the flame look weak or one-sided. Make sure you have proper ventilation space around the unit.
Installation guide: Installation guide -
Avoid common mistakes that reduce mist output:
Using the wrong water, reusing drained water, or adding oils/fragrances can damage the mist system and reduce flame performance.
What to avoid: Avoidance
This guide shows you how to use Eblth Cleaning Solution to clean your steam (mist) fireplace, clear residue from the mist system, and restore a stronger, clearer flame effect.
Clean the fireplace with Eblth Cleaning Solution
- Prepare the Eblth Cleaning Solution.

- Mix it with clean water (follow the product instructions for dilution).
- Fill the tank with the cleaning mixture using the normal filling method:
- Let the mixture sit for 30 minutes.
- Drain the tank completely and do not reuse the drained water:
- Optional but recommended: Refill the tank with clean water, then drain it again to rinse out any remaining solution.
- Fill the tank with fresh clean water and start the fireplace — you should notice a stronger, clearer flame.
If it doesn’t work
- Flame is still weak: Do one more rinse cycle (fill with clean water → drain again).
- Mist output is unstable: Make sure you drained the tank fully before refilling.
- Performance drops again quickly: You may need to clean more often depending on water quality.
Remember
- Clean once a month for best performance.
-
Never add essential oils or fragrances into the fireplace — they can damage the mist system.
