Why Is My Water Vapor Fireplace Not Producing Mist?

If your water vapor fireplace turns on normally but is not producing mist, the problem is often related to cleaning or the atomizer heads.

Before checking the fireplace, there is one important rule to remember:

Only clean water should be used in an EBLTH water vapor fireplace.

Do not add essential oils, fragrance oils, perfume, aroma liquids, or any other products to the water. These products can leave residue inside the water system and on the atomizer heads, which may affect mist production.

Step 1: Clean the Fireplace with EBLTH Cleaning Solution

If the fireplace is not producing mist, the first step is to clean the internal water system with EBLTH cleaning solution.

You will need:

  • 100 ml EBLTH cleaning solution

  • Clean water

Add 100 ml of EBLTH cleaning solution to clean water, then add the mixture to the fireplace as you normally add water.

Leave the solution inside the fireplace for approximately 2 hours. This gives the cleaning solution enough time to work inside the water system.

After 2 hours:

  1. Drain the water completely from the fireplace.

  2. Add clean water.

  3. Drain the water again to rinse the system.

  4. Add fresh clean water once more.

  5. Turn on the fireplace and check the mist.

Step 2: Check the Atomizer Heads

If the fireplace still does not produce mist after cleaning, the next step is to inspect the atomizer heads.

Open the atomizer head area and check the condition of each atomizer head.

If you see dirt, residue, or buildup on the surface, gently clean it and test the fireplace again.

A dirty atomizer head may not produce mist correctly even when the rest of the fireplace is operating normally.

Step 3: Check for a Cracked Atomizer Head

While inspecting the atomizer heads, look carefully for physical damage.

If an atomizer head is cracked, cleaning will not solve the problem. The damaged atomizer head needs to be replaced.

You can contact EBLTH to obtain a replacement atomizer head for your fireplace model.

What Should You Do If There Is Still No Mist?

Follow the troubleshooting process in this order:

Clean the fireplace with EBLTH cleaning solution → rinse with clean water → test the fireplace → inspect and clean the atomizer heads → replace any cracked atomizer head.

In many cases, mist problems can be resolved through cleaning and basic maintenance without replacing the fireplace.

If you have completed these steps and the fireplace still does not produce mist, contact EBLTH customer service. Sending us a short video showing the fireplace while it is operating can help us identify the next step.

Important Reminder

To help keep your water vapor fireplace working properly:

Use clean water only. Never add fragrance, essential oils, perfume, or other liquids to the water system.

Regular cleaning can also help prevent residue and buildup around the atomizer heads.
