What to Do If You Suspect Electrical Leakage

If you believe the fireplace may have electrical leakage after testing it with a voltage tester, please do not conclude immediately that the unit itself is faulty. In some cases, the test result may be affected by the floor material, the socket condition, or the grounding environment on site.

To help confirm the actual cause, please follow the steps below:

Step 1: Test the Unit on a Cement Floor

Please place the unit directly on a cement floor. Do not place it on wood flooring, tile flooring, or other finished floor surfaces.

Please also make sure that the metal part of the unit is in direct contact with the ground.

After that, test the unit again using the voltage tester.

Step 2: Try a Different Power Socket

Then, plug the unit into a different power outlet

After changing the outlet, please test the unit again.

Why This Check Is Necessary

All units are inspected before shipment. For this reason, we need to confirm whether the issue is related to the unit itself, the power socket, the grounding condition, or the installation environment.
