Real Service Case: Uneven Mist on an EBLTH Water Vapor Fireplace

A water vapor fireplace may occasionally appear to produce more mist on one side than the other. When this happens, the most useful first step is not to guess which component has failed, but to check the fireplace step by step.

In this real EBLTH after-sales service case, a customer contacted us because the mist output was uneven between the left and right sides of the fireplace.

Here is how we checked the problem.

Step 1: Check the Mist While the Fireplace Is Running

The customer first showed us the fireplace operating normally.

From the video, we could see that both sides were working, but the amount of mist coming from each side was different.

A video of the complete fireplace while it is running is important because it allows us to see:

  • whether mist is coming from both sides

  • how large the difference is

  • whether the mist is continuous

  • whether the problem affects one section or the whole fireplace

This gives us a starting point before asking the customer to open or replace anything.

Step 2: Clean the Mist System

The next step was cleaning.

Mineral deposits and residue can affect the performance of a water vapor fireplace, so cleaning is one of the first checks we recommend when the mist becomes weak or uneven.

After cleaning, the fireplace was tested again.

If the mist returns to normal after cleaning, no further troubleshooting may be necessary. If the difference remains, we continue checking.

Step 3: Remove the Top Cover and Test Again

Because the mist was still uneven, we asked the customer to remove the top cover and run the fireplace again.

This is an important diagnostic step.

Testing with the cover removed allows us to see the mist coming directly from the internal mist-producing area instead of judging only by the flame effect visible above the fireplace.

At this stage, a clear video is much more useful than a description such as “the left side has less mist.”

Step 4: Check the Atomizer

After comparing the mist output with the top cover removed, we could continue checking the atomizer and determine the appropriate next step.

We do not recommend replacing parts simply because one side appears weaker.

Uneven mist can only be diagnosed properly after seeing how the fireplace behaves during each test. The purpose of the troubleshooting process is to identify the affected area before deciding whether a component needs attention or replacement.

Final Handling

Once the affected part was identified through the testing process, we provided the customer with the appropriate solution and replacement guidance where required.

This is also how EBLTH handles similar after-sales cases: check the symptoms, test the fireplace, identify the affected area, and then determine what needs to be done.

It avoids unnecessary replacement of parts and makes remote troubleshooting much faster.

What Video Should You Send If Your Fireplace Has Uneven Mist?

If you own an EBLTH water vapor fireplace and notice that one side produces more mist than the other, please send us a clear video before disassembling or replacing any components.

The video should show:

  1. The entire fireplace while it is running.

  2. Both sides of the mist output in the same video.

  3. The fireplace after cleaning, if you have already cleaned it.

  4. The mist output with the top cover removed, if our support team asks you to perform this test.

Please keep the camera steady and show the fireplace running for several seconds. Avoid filming only one side, because we need to compare the mist output across the fireplace.

Need Help With Your EBLTH Water Vapor Fireplace?

Uneven mist does not automatically tell us which component is causing the problem.

A short troubleshooting process usually gives us much more useful information.

If you experience uneven, weak, or missing mist from your EBLTH water vapor fireplace, contact our after-sales support and send a clear operating video. We can then guide you through the next check based on what the fireplace is actually doing.
